Barrio Lindo

Description:

Guests include Femina, Ouaira, and Andy Otto. This is a leap forward in further refining the fresh sound that has attracted many listeners across the boundaries of modern electric, club jazz, and world music! Barrio Lindo is the solo project of Agustin Rivaldo, a music producer from Buenos Aires who is currently based in Berlin. In 2018, his second album "Albura" was released in Japan, and he will be touring Japan for the first time. In 2018, their second album "Albura" was released in Japan and they went on their first Japan tour, which received a great response in various places. This is their latest album (their third album in total) and the long-awaited follow-up to "Albura". The album features various rhythms and instruments from South America, as well as melodies straight from the Andes that evoke nostalgia. This time, the synths are incorporated here and there, increasing the deepness and experimental edge by 20%. The Berlin-trained attention to the floor is also evident, and the club sound is even more perfect. The style established in "Albura" is a combination of traditional Latin American elements and modern floor-oriented electronic music... and the addition of an unsettling alternative feel creates another surprising alien world. The vocalist for M3, "Perfume," is Clara Trucco of Weste. Andy Otto, who appears on M4 "Himmel Himmel Blao," is an up-and-coming German artist who has emerged with a single on Multiculture and a remix by Umeko Ando. Uaira of "La Luz" (M6) is a new face who has also appeared on Nicola Cruz's album, and whose single on Shika Shika has been getting a lot of attention and is highly anticipated. Digital Cumbia, Global Bass, Glocal Beats, etc., are all exciting things at the moment! Or as the other side of Argentine music, a rare talent pool exposed by Juana Molina....Of course, it fits just right with the slow, cross-border mood of modern electrics ignited by voodoo hop, multi-culti and disco-halal.
