Finally, the extremely rare and previously unreleased soundtracks of Bernard Parmegiani, the genius of French avant-garde who had a tremendous influence on his successors, including Aphex Twin, Outeka, and Keith Fullerton Whitman, are now available on CD! A pioneer in the French electronic music world who supported Pierre Scheffert's GRM with Luc Ferrari and others from its early days, his rare and unknown soundtrack work is now being brought to light for the first time! Bernard Parmegiani is a French musician who passed away in 2013. He participated in the GRM (French music research group) founded by Pierre Chéphère with Luc Ferrari and others from its early days, and contributed to the development of the French electronic/experimental music scene. He has had a great influence on current electronic musicians such as Aphex Twin, Outeka, and Keith Fullerton Whitman. In recent years, his major works such as "L'ile Ecoute / Dedans-Dehors" and "De Natura Sonorum" have been reissued by the prestigious Austrian label Edejosions-Mego, which has led to a re-evaluation in the current synth & electronic context.WRWTFWW, a subsidiary of Mental Groove of Switzerland, which has made a name for itself through the reissue of "Dark Star" and the international release of Midori Takada, has released a miracle dig of this rare and previously unreleased soundtrack work. Les Soleils de L'ile de Paques (The Suns of Easter Island)" (1972) is a mysterious and strange film that has a cult following among avid French film fans. La Brulure de Mille Soleils (The Heat Of A Thousand Suns) (1965) is also known for its participation by Chris Marker. Both films were directed by Pierre Casto, one of the leading directors of the Nouvelle Vague. The soundtracks were not released when the original films were released; these two films are now available on CD for the first time as 2 in 1. The soundtrack is a combination of strange overtones, bizzare analog synths, and outlandish et cetera, all in one!
