BATTRE LYSS is the band of Rolf Hammarlund (vocals/bass) and Christer Palmquist (vocals/acoustic guitar/piano), who were inspired by the British beat after the Beatles and started playing in the mid-60s with the band Two Of Us. The band was formed in 1973 by Rolf Hammarlund (vocals/bass) and Christer Palmquist (vocals/acoustic guitar/piano), and Anders Nordh (guitar), who was a member of the popular Scandinavian progressive rock band, Life. This album is the only one released on the minor label "Musiklaget" in Stockholm in 1975.The Essence of Swedish Progressive Music 1967-1979", the ultimate Swedish psychedelic Nuggets box set released in 2007, brought the band to the attention of progressive rock fans outside of Japan for the first time. However, this is the first time in the world that a single album has been reissued! Not only is it rare, but the content is also excellent! The lyrical piano sound, emotional guitar solos, exquisitely spiced saxophone, flute, and organ, mixed with the unique pastoral and melancholic mood created by the Swedish lyrics, create a breathtaking and unknown sound world. Reissued by SOMMOR, a Spanish reissue label that has produced digs by Pig Rider, Claude Lombard, and others. Includes Japanese bilingual booklet English text.
