Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA) has supervised more than 350 compilations, including "Free Soul," "Cafe Apres-midi," "Mellow Beats," "Good Mellows," "Jazz Supreme," "Music in the Landscape," and "Incense Music" series, and has been a music selector since the 1990s. Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA) has continued to provide a guidepost for music listeners since the 1990s. Based in Shibuya's "Cafe Apremidi," he continues to gain tremendous support for his various musical proposals that add color to everyday life. His partner is Jiro Fujita, FJD, a graphic designer who has created artwork for numerous musical works, including jazzy and mellow beats by Nujabes, works by artists such as Calm, Sakura Fujiwara, and Keisuke Kuwata, architecture, hotel lobby art, and store logos. His design works can be seen all over Tokyo, from architecture to hotel lobby art, shop logos, and more.The CD of "Seaside Chillout Breeze", the first in a new compilation series "Chillout Breeze", has been released and mastered by Toru Hashimoto (music selection and supervision), Jiro Fujita (artwork), and Calm, a top Japanese artist of jazz, chillout and Balearic music, who is also highly acclaimed overseas. The CD of "Seaside Chillout Breeze" has been released, and a vinyl LP containing 9 tracks selected by Toru Hashimoto from the CD (16 tracks) and featuring attractive artwork has also been released! A wonderful selection of comfort music that makes you feel the pleasant breeze while chilling out by the sea, with a focus on cool & mellow grooves - chill-out balearica - surf x bossa x folky - lovers rock & dub - jazzy & mellow beats gems! A wonderful cover of Mad Professor's mellow dub masterpiece "Sweet Cherry" newly recorded by TAMTAM and a cool bossa masterpiece by Antena featuring Kaori Takeda of TICA newly recorded by cubismo grafico. Also included is a great cover of Antena's cool bossa masterpiece "Seaside Weekend" featuring Kaori Takeda of TICA, newly recorded by cubismo grafico!
