Tadayoshi Kusakabe - Saxophone Tadayoshi Kusakabe - Saxophone was born in Kyoto. Graduated from Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music at the top of his class. He received the Kuwabara Prize upon graduation. He began performing while still in school and moved to Europe in 2013. She entered the graduate school of the City University of Music and Arts Vienna, where she completed her studies with the highest honors. During his studies, he performed and premiered many pieces at festivals such as the Academy of Contemporary Music Graz, the World Saxophone Congress, and the Vienna Saxfest. He was awarded the 2nd prize (highest prize for saxophone) at the 2nd EMONA International Woodwind Competition.After returning to Japan, he has continued to actively present premieres in Japan and abroad, especially Japanese and Asian works, and his highly musical performances have been highly acclaimed by composers. He has studied saxophone with Akiko Jinnai, Masato Kumoi, Kazuyuki Hayashida, Jonathan Helton, and Lars Mlekusch, and chamber music with Miyuki Kitano, Ayako Harada, Shiro Murata, Unanimous Nakamura, and Lars Mlekusch. She is a member of Ensemble Rosetta and Hiroshima Wind Orchestra. (She has been a member of the Ensemble Rosetta and the Hiroshima Wind Orchestra, and has been a dispatched artist to Kagoshima Prefecture for the Music Outreach Forum Project for Revitalization of Music in 2008 and 2009. He has performed in major cities in Japan, as well as in the United States, Europe, and Asia. In Rome, he gave a concert of all Kenji Sakai's piano works at Villa Medici, and his activities have been featured in The New York Times. He has performed with the Orchestra of the Slovak National Opera. As a chamber musician, he has performed with members of the NHK Symphony Orchestra and the Saito Kinen Orchestra. His recordings have been released on two CDs from Disk Classica in Japan. In Europe, his CDs have been released on Kreuzberg Record in Berlin.He has also released "Mussorgsky: Pictures at an Exhibition" and "Brahms: Piano Sonata No. 3" exclusively through iNos Records via Apple Music, Amazon Music, etc. in many countries and regions around the world. He is currently an associate professor at Fukuyama Heisei University, a visiting professor at Hiroshima University, and a part-time lecturer at the Elisabeth University of Music and Performing Arts.
