Description:

The legendary live performance of Murahachibu at Kyoto Kaikan Hall No.1 in 1972 is released simultaneously on limited LP & CD with the latest remastering introducing AI! This live performance was first recorded on CD in 2005 for the limited release "Murahachibu BOX -LIMITED EDITION-" (now out of print), and was released independently in 2020, but soon sold out and became difficult to obtain. In addition to the monaural sound source used in the box in the previous first reissue, two cassette recordings recorded in stereo were unearthed. The damaged parts were repaired, including adjustments to tape speed, and the three cassettes were mixed and remastered. In this latest remastering, as in the first single release, three different sound sources were mixed and digitally remastered using a new AI system. The result is a work whose sound image can be perceived at first listen. Soichiro Nakamura (Peace Music), who has worked on many Murahachibu albums in recent years, was in charge of the engineering. This is the first analog version of the album. The live concert held on November 11, 1972 at Kyoto Kaikan Hall No.1 was a time when the band had received offers from major record companies after their successful live concert at Kyoto Maruyama Open-Air Concert Hall in August, about three months before this concert, and was backed up and produced by the band's first manager, Hideki Kimura, who was a big promoter. The band's first manager, Hideteru Kimura, backed up and produced the show, which was a huge promotional event. The opening song "Butsubuse" is a rare take that cannot be heard on any other live recordings from this period. is a funky arrangement, and "Nou miso hanami" is a version with vocals. As the song progresses, the groove gradually increases, and the song comes to an end with a raging performance like a runaway locomotive. The entire show has been brought back to life with the latest remastering for an even more vivid sound! First simultaneous CD and vinyl release.
