The fourth recording project of all Messiaen's solo piano works! Akika Miyazaki (piano) Messiaen's ambitious works in his youth eventually deepened and evolved into revolutionary works that would make their mark on music history, just like his own life. His unique musical language was sublimated in his last works, and his highly refined sound reflects a shimmering scene that transcends time and space. This talented pianist, who studied in Paris and has deepened her knowledge of Messiaen's music, vividly depicts brilliant lines of sound and colors. Akika Miyazaki (piano) graduated from Toho Girls' High School of Music and Toho Gakuen School of Music, and then went to France to study at the Conservatoire National de Region de Paris. While in school, she won many national and international competitions, including the Pittina Piano Competition Special Class National Competition, 2nd Prize at the Médoc Aquitaine International Competition, Special Prize for Contemporary Music at the Ferdi Lilli International Competition, and a prize at the Contemporary Music Performance Competition "Competitive Music IX". He graduated from the Conservatory of Music in Paris with first prize. After graduating at the top of his class from the Conservatoire de Musique de Paris with a special prize unanimously awarded by the jury, he went on to graduate with a concert diploma from the Conservatoire de Genève. He has given regular recitals at the Centre Franco-Japonais de Paris, and has performed in France, Switzerland, Spain, and other European countries.She has appeared on NHK Educational TV "Super Piano Lesson, The Light of French Music by Michel Bellof, Instructor" and Shonan Cable TV, etc. Performed with orchestras such as the Orchestre National de la Conservatoire de Paris and the Tokyo Universal Philharmonic Orchestra. Studied piano with Tomoko Yamada, Keiko Takeuchi, Jean-Marie Cotet, and Pascal Devaillon. In 2011, after living in Paris for 10 years, she moved to Tokyo and gave recitals at Oji Hall and Hamarikyu Asahi Hall, which were well received by various publications. She has been active both in Japan and abroad as a soloist, chamber musician, member of the new style pianist group "Paris 5," and invited to the Asean-China Festival as a contemporary ensemble. She is also active in teaching younger students as an instructor at the Tokyo Seitoku Junior College and Toho Gakuen School of Music for Children. Tobu Shoji Co.
