Since November 2025, Eriko Hashimoto has been releasing a series of digital singles, including “Spring’s Fault,” “Zone 30,” and “Storyteller.” Her latest work, her third full-length album *OVERLIFE*, which brings this series of releases to a close and includes all three of those digital singles, is finally complete. This marks her first full-length album in two years and three months, following *Machi yo Machi yo*, released in April 2024. While Hashimoto has consistently expressed the seamless connection between her daily life and her musical activities through her signature lyrics and melodies, the sound showcased in her three previous digital singles signaled that she is moving into the next phase of her career. Known for writing lyrics first, Hashimoto approached the production of this album—for the first time in her career—by focusing primarily on composing the music first. This ambitious work showcases her taking on a new challenge while remaining true to her signature style. The album features a total of 11 tracks, including the title track “Overlife,” which has already been performed live, and “Koko de,” which was first performed during the “New Year Live Tour 2026: ‘Haru no Sei’” held this past January.
