Etta James, described by the New York Times as "the singer who has devoted more time, intelligence and passion to soul music than anyone since Ray Charles," is still influential, including Beyoncé's 2008 role as Etta James in the film "Cadillac Records. The influence of Etta James is still enormous. M-7 and M-19 are the reason why she is known as the greatest ballad singer of this century, and also should be remembered as a great rhythm & blues song. While the album focuses on blues, including seven songs from the classic album "At Last!", it also includes a duet number (M-21) with Harvey Fuqua, a member of the Moonglow's.
