Jerry & The Pacemakers were a quartet from Liverpool who made their debut on Columbia in 1963. At first, the group boasted popularity and success following The Beatles, who also came out of the same area, and they enjoyed great success in the U.S. as well, but stopped their activities at the end of 1966. Although their recording career was not long, their songs have been enjoyed by many fans ever since. The Beatles' connection with Brian Epstein (manager) and George Martin (producer), who were also the strongest staff members who worked with them, is like an "added value," and the fact that they produced several classic songs that continue to be loved around the world is the greatest achievement of all, and is the reason why they have been passed down to future generations. This is the reason why they have been passed down to posterity. This album is the first Japanese release on CD of the only best-of album released in the U.S. in 1965, plus bonus tracks that have been ranked in the U.S. charts since then. Commentary: Toru Ueshiba
