SNK's 20th arcade soundtrack project! Includes BGM from "The King of Fighters 2000" and "The King of Fighters 2001"! The King of Fighters 2000" is a further evolution of its predecessor "'99," employing an active striker system that allows players to call teammates to participate in attacks, and combo-building became more heated. The guest appearances of past SNK characters in "Another Striker" were also a hit. The King of Fighters 2001" uses team battles, but also features a tactical order system that allows players to choose the number of main fighters and the number of strikers, so players can choose to fight with one character and have three characters as strikers, or fight with four characters and have no strikers. This allows for a wide range of strategies for each player, such as fighting with one character and three strikers, or fighting with four characters and no strikers, and so on.
