He has earned a solid reputation for his Chopin performances, having won the Mayor of Warsaw Prize at the 2000 International Chopin Competition. His album featuring the complete Ballades (SONARE1023), released on the SONARE label, received high praise, including being selected as a “Record Arts Special Selection.” Furthermore, his album featuring the 24 Preludes, Nocturne No. 20, and the Military Polonaise (SONARE1027) has been praised for its intellectual depth and exceptional technique. Both Piano Sonatas No. 2 and No. 3 are major works. Hashiri presents them with his rare expressiveness and performances full of elegance. In particular, his delicate pianissimo passages resonate deeply with listeners, featuring a flowing tone so beautiful it brings tears to the eyes.
