SSW (singer-songwriter) Kingo Hamada has released and provided many works as an exceptional melody maker, and his works are highly regarded as city pop. From the seven albums he has released in his solo career, "Ink Blue" Best AOR Selection" is the best album on the theme of "AOR" beyond the boundaries of labels. The album has been mastered and released in UHQCD format. All of the songs on the seven albums he has released have been composed by himself, and each album was produced with the support of outstanding local and international musicians (his debut album was produced mainly in New York), and is of unmistakable world-class quality. The tracks are all evergreen. This selection of the best of the best has been compiled under a certain theme, focusing on those works that shine with their own unique brilliance. That theme is Adult Oriented Rock (AOR).(The group of works released in the late 70's, which were pleasant to the ear and liked by adult users for a long time, came to be called this after the 80's.) The sound is similar to the Western AOR of the time, and the songs that contain love stories depicting that era are clothed in brilliance and sadness. His solo debut was with AIR RECORDS, and he released three albums. This is the first best-of compilation album with songs from all seven of her albums. The music was selected by music writer Masayoshi Kondo. The title "Ink Blue" is taken from the song "Ink Blue Dawn," which symbolizes the album.
