Look Out! Look Out! Look Out! The Koretz, a cute, kitschy, slightly wild rock and roll unit that pays homage to 60's girl groups and garage rock, makes its long-awaited debut in Japan! The cover design is reminiscent of The Ronettes' "Presenting the Fabulous Ronettes Featuring Veronica," the title is "Back in Mono" instead of "Back to Mono," and the walls of sound seem to bring back the magic of Phil Spector, Garage/surf rock 'n' roll, retro pop, oldies & goodies ....... The Colettes, whose captivating keywords keep coming to mind, are a bass-less unit of Mr. and Mrs. Khouri: Flavia, a Brazilian riot girl on vocals, guitar, and piano, and Martin, a Dane who plays drums and percussion. They are joined by producer Søren Christensen on keyboards, which takes them into the world of sparkling, vintage pop 'n' roll.The band's shocking debut album "Hear Are The Coollets" and second album "We Are The Coollets" were released to much acclaim not only in Denmark but also in Germany and the U.K. "Won't You! Like a Cigarette," the electric number "Hop the Twig," and "R.I.N.G.O.," which was dedicated to Ringo Starr, are featured on the third album, "Back in Mono," which finally debuted in Japan. The natural "mono mix" was done by Seiki Sato of Microstar, the proud pop maestro of Japan. The sweet, sad, hot and cool "60's sound" is back in the 21st century! Includes lyrics and translation, and two bonus tracks.
