In the early 2000s, when many world-famous stars were emerging from the dancehall scene, Jamaica was producing not only dancehall music but also hit songs with one-drop characteristics in the tradition of reggae music. The new mix series "ONE DROP MIX" started by Junior is a so-called "medium" mix focusing on nice and smooth songs and quality mid-tempo tunes that colored the era.
