The Critters, a soft rock group formerly led by Don Cicconi, who later joined the Four Seasons, are best known for their hits "Mr. Dyingly Sad" and "Younger Girl". They have been chasing the eternal soft rock sound, and what is the continuation of their dreaming pop sound that has never been told.... This is the third and final album released by the group (released in 1969) after Bobby Spinella was replaced by Paul Gruns on keyboards. It is an excellent album that captures the trends of the music scene at the time, which was changing from the brill building sound to the era of singer-songwriters, while keeping up with the dreamy pop sound. After the group broke up, core member Jim Ryan joined up with Carly Simon and participated in many of her albums. Paper jacket based on the U.S. LP. DSD mastered, 24-bit remastered in 2022.
