Ace's music is "the music of the United States, the music of the British," with Steely Dan and Little Feat as its advocates. Ace's album 3W, which featured Paul Carrack, is now available on Blu-spec CD for the first time. This is the third Ace album released in 1977, after moving their base of activities to the United States. New American artist John Woodhead joined the band to replace the departed Phil Harris. Producer Trevor Lawrence replaced John Anthony, who had produced the previous two albums. The group recorded in the U.S. for the first time, making this album more conscious of the American market. Paper jacket based on the British LP. High quality sound "Blu-spec CD", 24-bit remastered in 2018.
