This album, 3RENSA, is a memorable first collaborative album by these three noise/experimental musicians. If you are at all familiar with these three musicians and their work, you will understand that this is an extraordinary situation. I, for one, dreamed that this album would be the recordings and recordings that would go down in the "history" of Japanese experimental music together. I even dreamed that this album would be the recordings/discs that would go down in the history of Japanese experimental music "collaborations. And the artwork is by Ukawa Naohiro! Merzbow is the god of Japanese noise (sometimes referred to as "Japanoise"), a man who has released a vast number of albums from the 1980s to the present, and continues to release an astonishing number of albums and perform live shows. The stormy noise of Merzbow is so well-known to enthusiasts far and wide that Paul Hegarty's book "Noise/Music," which describes 100 years of noise history, devoted an entire chapter to Merzbow alone.In recent years, he has been practicing exciting collaborations such as "AN UNTROUBLESOME DEFENCELESSNESS" with Keiji Haino and Balazs Pand, "STRANGE CITY", a harsh noise version of unreleased Sun Ra recordings, and other releases that reconstruct music history, as well as a live performance with Ryoji Ikeda Duenn is the owner and operator of one of Japan's leading cassette labels, Duenn, in Fukuoka, Japan. The label releases works by artists of all generations, from Icue Mori to shotahirama, and has earned the trust of young music fans for its unique curation. He is himself an accomplished ambient/drone artist, and in 2016 released a serene ambient/drone masterpiece called "A message" on Kyoto's .On his own Duenn label, he has released a split album "Symbols" with ambient artist Celer and a cassette album "TIME" with tracks by Francisco Lopes, Lawrence English, DJ Olive, and Duenn+Nyantora. He also released a cassette album, "TIME," featuring tracks by Francisco Lopes, Lrence English, DJ Olive, and Duenn+Nyantora, which astounded enthusiasts. He also released "Mujo," a collaborative album with Takuro Okada (Mori wa Ikiteiru), and has gained an audience that transcends the boundaries between rock and ambient music. Needless to say, he is the key man in this "3RENSA," having previously performed with Nyantora Duenn, the Alter Ego of supercar driver Koji Nakamura, who gained contemporaneous popularity in the late 90s and 00s. Under the name Nyantor, which seems to have been created for the purpose of practicing sound play, Nakamura has been active beyond the boundaries of major/indie music, having stopped in 2006, but resuming his activities in 2010 with the release of the "White EP.The following year, they released "Duenn feat Nyantora" on the Duenn label and played their first live show at a Duenn label event. Since then, they have been performing live frequently. Recently, he released "YCAM LIVE" (2016), a tranquil drone live album with Duenn and Hair Stylistics (Masaya Nakahara) on the Japanese label "SAD rec. In 2016, he formed the band MUGAMICHIRU with Mitsuru Nasuno and Tatsuya Nakamura to further expand his activities. He has been expanding his activities even further.
