This is the fourth full-length album by this symphonic power metal band from Spain. The album features thrilling speed tunes, gorgeous orchestration, and dramatic song development with plenty of majestic choirs! This is a powerful album that boasts an overwhelming degree of perfection! Formed in 2007 under the name Quinta Enmienda, the band released their debut album "Ne Bis In Idem" in 2010 and toured for several years, gradually gaining recognition. The band signed with German label Sonic Attack and changed their name to Phoenix Rising. Their second album "MMXII" was recorded with English and Spanish lyrics and released in March 2012. It was distributed through SPV, the largest distributor in Germany. It was acclaimed by the media as "the successor to Rhapsody and Sonata Arctica. In Japan, Hydrant Music released the album in late 2013 with a few additional bonus tracks.After releasing their third album "Versus" in 2014 and touring not only in their home country of Spain but also in France and Belgium in the summer of 2016, they began work on this album. The album was completed in 2018, two years after the release of their third album "Versus" in 2014. The title of this work, Acta Est Fabula, is Latin for "the story is over. The title of this work, Acta Est Fabula, is Latin for "The story is over." It is believed to be the dying words of Augustus. All lyrics are in Spanish.
