Schubert (1797-1828)
Description:
For baritone Skowhus, "Swan Song" is his first re-recording in about 20 years. Skowhus says that as he has aged, he has come to understand music more and more. Unlike the "Watermill Girl" and "Winterreise," which are collections of linked songs, "Swan Song" was compiled by Schubert's publishers and friends after his death, so the order of the songs is more flexible, but Skoufus grouped three poets, Seidl, Heine, and Lerstab, and added some songs to the He has grouped the three poets, Seidl, Heine, and Lerstab, and added some songs to them. The arrangement of these songs is exactly the same as in the previous album, and the listener can take his time to enjoy Skowhus' singing, which has matured over the past 20 years. Naxos Japan
