Pavol Breslik is internationally acclaimed as an excellent Mozart singer, having sung Don Ottervio in the 2007 Berlin State Opera Japan tour, and his orfeo label has previously released Schubert's "The Watermiller's Daughter" (recorded 2014), Breslik has also sung with freshness in this recording, but this Mozart (1756-1791) is a fish out of water. Born in Slovakia in 1979, Breslik made his debut at the age of 21 singing Don Ottavio in Prague, the city where Don Giovanni was first performed. He has since performed in Salzburg, Munich, Vienna, London and other leading opera houses around the world. In this album, he takes on not only Tamino and Idamante, which are his specialty, but also the aria "Out of the Sea~" from the title role in the opera "Idomeneo.It also radiates a new charm.
