The third release on the Pooh's Hoop label is a collection of Valentin Silvestrov's piano works by Mizumuko Tsukatani, In 2013, Tsukatani released Gortberg (PCD1305) on the Positif organ in Haarlem, the Netherlands. This time, Tsukatani will make full use of the fingerings he studied in Europe, and jump from organ to keyboard, and from Baroque to contemporary music. This recording is a collection of piano works by Valentin Silvestrov (1927-), a Ukrainian composer of contemporary music. The beautiful sound of overlapping notes is the essence of Silvestrov's works.The CD was recorded by Saburo Shigata, a well-known audio magazine writer, so that you can enjoy and immerse yourself in the beauty of the resonance and the sustain of the piano. I knew that one day someone would come along and record an album like this, and that it would only be a matter of time. (omission) What is interesting about Ms. Tsukatani's interpretation is that she adds one clarification to it.
