OVA "Winter Cicada" Special Edition / Anime. . After 10 years since the OVA "Fuyu no Semi", the preserved version is finally released! The time is the end of the Tokugawa Shogunate, a turbulent era. The play "Fuyu no Semi" (Winter Cicada), which was depicted in the comic work "Haru wo Hagitaitaita" (I Had a Spring) written by Nitta Sukekatsu, was adapted into a film from 2006 to 2007. This is the prehistoric version of Iwaki and Kato, and the trajectory of Akizuki and Soka through the turbulent Bakumatsu Restoration. The three volumes of the OVA series that had been released have been combined into a single "special edited version" with additional cuts and retakes, and have now been remastered in HD with a new look.
