The album is a remix of heavy 70's roots reggae riddims performed by Jamaican reggae legends, overdubbed with a variety of instruments and sexy, cute whispering vocals. A problematic and perverse DIY reggae masterpiece that boldly develops the dub technique and creates a new world! Whispering vocals reminiscent of Susan Cadogan/Kahimikari or the Codets, keyboards, melodica, clarinet, clave, guiro, xylophone, whistling, zither(!), and other instruments are layered on top of each other to create a rich musical experience. The album has a slightly different feel from 80s Lovers Rock, with its heavy, dreamy, strangely trippy sensations, "Waratta" is a bold work that seems to have developed from dub techniques. It is a daring work that seems to have developed the technique of dub.The album also includes a respectful sampling of the late Prince Farai (M-4) and a mystic digital dub mixed by a scientist (M-8). The cover photo and design pay homage to her favorites Augustus Pablo and Pharaoh Sanders ("THEMBI"). Woratta" is an Ethiopian word meaning "first daughter".
