The endless loneliness that drifts here is the nostalgia of an exile. -Tokiko KatoHatsue Nakamura has studied as a specialist in Russian songs. She has also recorded famous songs from Ukraine, Czech Republic, Poland, and other Slavic countries in their original languages. The reality of the Slavic world is one of division and conflict, but the songs are beautifully selected to call for love and peace in the world, and Hatsue's clear soprano makes this collection of songs a prayerful and healing one. Ichiro Ito (Professor Emeritus, Waseda University) is a social artist who continues to sing on the theme of "Song - Prayer. Graduated from Tokyo College of Music with a major in voice, she passed the audition for the Mariinsky National Theater in 2003 and joined the theater as a soloist. She studied under Ms. Larissa Gergiyeva (sister of conductor Gergiev). She performed the role of Snow Girl in Rimsky=Korsakov's "Snow Girl" and Malfa in "The Emperor's Bride," and has appeared in many concerts featuring her highly acclaimed singing of songs. Studied music therapy in New York. In 2004, she won the Rimsky Special Prize at the Rimsky-Korsakov International Vocal Competition. In 2005, she was awarded the prize for excellence in singing at the "Elena Obraszova International Opera Competition" and the title of "Musician of Our City" by the St. Petersburg City Art Foundation.She was trained by Ms. Ileana Kotrbasz, a member of the jury. Performed with conductor Temirkanov at the prize-giving ceremony of the competition. Performed with Valery Gergiev at the Summer Opera Festival in Finland. Performed at the "White Nights Festival" in Russia every year. Performed at the "Japanese Culture Week" in Ukraine. Performed many concerts in New York, Italy, and other foreign countries. In Japan, she has performed the roles of Susanna in the operas "The Marriage of Figaro" and Gilda in "Rigoletto," and in musicals, she has played the leading roles of Christine in "The Phantom of the Opera," Maria in "West Side Story," and Maria in "The Sound of Music. She has sung solo in "Kimigayo", soloist in Beethoven's "Symphony No. 9", Bach's "Cantata", Mozart's "Requiem", Saint-Saens' "Christmas Oratorio", Vivaldi's "Gloria", and performed in "Russian Culture Festival in Japan", among many others. In her teens, she started the "Music de Smile Project" through music. Immediately after the Great East Japan Earthquake, she began performing as a volunteer in the affected areas, and also focused on supporting "reusable musical instruments. Currently, she continues to support musical instruments in orphanages in developing countries. He also continues to practice music therapy as an instructor at schools for the handicapped, rehabilitation centers, and childcare support centers.As part of international cultural exchange activities, she has organized and produced concerts with overseas artists in Japan and abroad since 2015, and will organize and produce many concerts with a grant from the Agency for Cultural Affairs for three years starting in 2020. She sings songs about peace, mainly songs about nature and children. As a specialist of Russian and Slavic songs, she has been sharing these beautiful and unknown songs for many years.
