Her performance of the “Suite bergamasque” is delightfully infused with her characteristic lighthearted nuances, while her rendition of “Clair de Lune” is both elegant and exquisite. Schumann’s popular “Carnaval” is rendered with a lively, youthful energy that captures the bustle and atmosphere of the carnival. Furthermore, when listened to as a complete set, “Burgmüller’s 25 Etudes”—known as practice pieces for children—shine as a captivating collection that shares the same Romantic worldview. She graduated from Musashino Academy of Music and completed its Graduate School of Music. She graduated at the top of her class from the Dortmund campus of the Detmold University of Music. She graduated from the Robert Schumann University of Music in Düsseldorf with the State Performer’s Qualification. She has won prizes in numerous competitions both in Japan and abroad. She received a Special Prize at the 3rd Concorso MusicArte, sponsored by the Japan-Italy Association. She was a finalist in the 2012 American Protege Internet International Competition and made her debut at Carnegie Hall in 2012. She received the Abniir Prize in the G Division of the 13th Osaka International Music Competition. At the 21st IBLA Grand Prize (Italy), she won the Grand Prize as well as the Ravel Special Prize. She passed the audition for the Pause Series organized by the Japan Chopin Association and held a solo recital at the Kawai Omotesando Pause Hall in Tokyo in 2016. She is also actively engaged in performing contemporary music; in 2018, she gave the world premiere of “Arpeggio Etude, Op. 66-4,” written for her by her friend Nimrod Borenstein. She has performed at various music festivals and concert series both in Japan and abroad, including the Beppu Argerich Music Festival New Artists Concert, the 4th Evmelia International Music Festival (Greece), the Alba Music Festival (Italy), as well as at venues such as the Munetsugu Hall, Minami-Azabu Centre Hall, and YOSHU Hall.
