Two romantic and mellow tracks by thefascinations and cloe are being reissued on vinyl! "The Beauties of Nature," a track from club jazz band thefascinations’ second album, and "Haoto," a track by cloe produced by thefascinations’ leader and vibraphonist Masami Watanabe, are being released on 7-inch vinyl! Hailed by such luminaries as Tatsuo Sunaga, Michi Kobayashi, and Shuya Okino, thefascinations is one of Japan’s premier club jazz bands. This 7-inch release features “ "thebeautiesofnature," along with "HAOTO" by cloe—produced by the band’s leader, vibraphonist Masami Watanabe—are being released on 7-inch vinyl to commemorate the 20th anniversary of thefascinations. Side A features "thebeautiesofnature," with guest appearances by Kaori from dahlia and Key, the vocalist from themeltingholidays. Their intertwining whispery vocals combined with Watanabe’s sparkling vibraphone create a soothing, mid-tempo lovers’ ballad. The B-side features "Haoto," a seductive track also featuring vocals by cloe. This track is a mellow jazz-funk/R&B number highlighted by sparkling vibraphone.
