SMTK is a band formed by one of today's hottest drummers, Shun Ishiwaka, who gathered a group of musicians of his generation to create a thrilling, hardcore jazz crossover sound that blends live music and rap music! The band is formed by four members, Marty Holoubek (ba), Tokutaro Hosoi (gt), and Qi Matsumaru (sax), with leader Shun Ishiwaka (dr), who has participated in many live performances and works with CRCK/LCKS, Kid Fresino, Kimijima Ozora, and Millennium Parade, as well as his own project. The second album "Siren Propaganda" (July 2021), featuring the three-piece hip-hop crew Dos Monos and the hot brother rap crew Ross Moody, is now available in LP edition. The album features 8 tracks, including "Headhunters," which was edited by Shoko It (Dos Monos) from SMTK sessions and rapped by the three members of Dos Monos, and other songs that are full of intelligence and songwriting.
