MisiKe is a singer-songwriter based in Taipei who exudes a unique presence. Her latest album, *BEGOOD*, which serves as the culmination of her 10-year career, is being released as her first-ever Japanese LP. The Japanese edition is a strictly limited-edition pressing on 180g heavyweight vinyl in clear, red, and orange marbled finishes. In addition to the 10 tracks—which offer a diverse listening experience and encapsulate shifting emotions—the Japanese edition includes the bonus track “12,000 km (Japanese Ver.)”. MisiKe herself handled everything from writing the lyrics and composing the music to arranging and producing the album. Centered around acoustic guitar, the album traverses elements of rock, electronic, and chamber music. The interplay between the texture of acoustic instruments and her crystal-clear vocals creates a soundscape unique to her. Confronting themes of loss, memory, love, and the act of living itself, this album embodies the phrase “BEGOOD = 好好的”—a sentiment expressing the hope that, even beyond the darkness, we can take a deep breath once more and cherish each day as it comes.
