Description:

Haydn's Chamber Works for Flute: Elegant and Humorous Performances! There are not many chamber works for flute by J. Haydn, except for these six divertimentos and two other works. All of the six divertimentos, with the exception of No. 4, are adapted from Haydn's opera "The Moon World" and his baritone trios. All the pieces are full of lovely melodies and Haydn's typical humor, and the three players' lively expressions and detailed ensembles shine through. The liner notes include a detailed commentary by Arai. <Michiyo Arai studied at the Tokyo College of Music before completing her graduate studies in flute at the Tokyo College of Music.
