The legendary Artur Velocai, known for his work on Gal Costa's "Ingea," has been hired as arranger! The Japanese commentary is specially contributed by Hitoshi Nakahara! Now 47 years old. Hogier has produced a number of works, including a Latin Grammy nomination for his collaboration with samba great Arlindo Cruz, co-writing the theme song for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, and collaborating with his friend and respected Seu Jorge, and has captured the unwavering popularity of the music. He has relocated to the United States and will resume full-fledged activities worldwide with this album. The production is by Diamond West, an emerging label in Los Angeles.Thomas Brenneck, who has produced and recorded with artists such as Mark Ronson, Amy Winehouse, and Anderson Park, as well as produced Charles Breadray for Daptone Records. And Jared Tankel, who has worked his way up the industry ladder as an artist lawyer and leader of the popular Budos Band. These two artists started Diamond West Records after leaving Daptone Records. This album is the first release on the label. It was recorded and produced by Brennecke at the Sound Factory in Hollywood. It was completed at Cia dos Tecnicos Studios in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in a historic session with arranger/composer/artist Artur Velokai.
