This is the 40th anniversary edition of "Ultraman 80". Along with the subsequent "Andromelos", this 5-CD box set sums up the TV series of the early 80's with music! Includes a 64-page booklet with one track of background music for the first time. Ultraman 80" aired for a year from April 1980. This is a compilation of recordings, original BGM, and sound effects from the broadcast, including the first commercialized sound sources. In addition, it also includes the music used in "Andromelos," which was serialized in magazines as an extra story in the Ultraman series after "Ultraman 80" ended, and broadcast on TV in 1983. The theme song was originally released on record as an image song in 1981, before the TV broadcast. The background music is from "THE ADVENTURES OF ULTRAMAN," an overseas version of "The Ultraman" produced in 1981, and this is the first time it has been released on CD in a cohesive form.
