Kimiko Ito, Japan's proud jazz vocalist, sings this Hibari tribute with the utmost respect for Hibari Misora, who inspired her to become a singer. She covers not only Hibari Misora's original songs, but also jazz standard numbers that Hibari covered and loved to sing. A must-hear is "One Pencil," which was composed for the Hiroshima Peace Music Festival and sung by Hibari Misora on the first occasion and the year before her death. The piano duo with Takana Miyamoto, who arranged and produced the song, will provide the music.
