Who Will Fall and Who Will Stay? Bob Dylan's first tour in eight years took place from January 3 to February 14, 1974, with 40 shows in 21 North American cities. The tour, which set records for attendance and box office receipts at the time, was later released as Dylan's first live album, "The Great Resurrection," and became a smash hit, reaching No. 3 in the United States. This new release is a compilation of all existing live recordings from that tour. The box set contains 431 tracks on 27 CDs, including 417 previously unreleased live recordings (133 newly mixed from 16-track tapes and all existing soundboard recordings).This limited edition release does not include the Band's solo performance on the original "The Great Resurrection" album released in 1974, but includes only Bob Dylan's performance, and comes with a Japanese booklet with commentary, lyrics, and bilingual translation. This is a precious record of Bob Dylan, who was 32 years old at the time, giving a white-hot performance backed by his allies, The Band, in 1974.
