This is the eighth album by Riverside, the No. 1 progressive rock band from Poland with a 20-year career. The band's music has a unique Eastern European flavor, with solid guitars that resonate in a dim, melancholy atmosphere, futuristic synths, analog-feeling organs, and warm, fragile vocals that resonate comfortably. They quickly gained acclaim in the progressive rock scene with their 2003 debut album, "Out of Myself," and have since steadily built a successful career, with all four of their most recent albums receiving gold discs in their home country of Poland. In particular, their last album, 2018's "Wasteland," reached #1 on the Polish charts for the second time, and their popularity outside the country has been steadily rising, with record-breaking chart action in Germany and Scandinavia.
