Fifty years ago, on August 6 and 7, 1971, Japan's first outdoor rock festival "Hakone Aphrodite" was held at Lake Ashi in Hakone. It was also Pink Floyd's first performance in Japan, and the footage of "Atom Heart Mother" from that event had been shrouded in mystery for many years, including the whereabouts of the master and the circumstances surrounding its filming. However, the original 16mm film from that time was finally discovered. After many years of digitization, restoration, and remastering, and after negotiations with Pink Floyd, the film was finally commercialized only in Japan at the time of its 50th anniversary.Not only the live video (sound source is also from the Hakone Aphrodite live), but also off-shot, airport, hotel, press conference, bullet train, sky color, Japanese landscape of the time, etc... A page of history is vividly revived with astonishing beauty. In addition, a short B-roll video of the venue set-up at that time is also newly discovered (for the first time in history).
