This 2017 work is a live performance, which took place on July 7 and 8, 2016 at the Pompeii Amphitheater, a World Heritage Site, a historic Roman stone structure dating back over 2000 years, as part of his world tour following the release of 2016's "Flight". This is the first time in 45 years since Pink Floyd that the excitement of this historic show has been captured in its entirety. The show covers Gilmour's entire career and includes many of Pink Floyd's classic songs (13 out of 21 are Floyd numbers, including "Blowin' Wind, Callin'"). The album also includes rare Floyd numbers such as "Blowin' Wind, Callin' Storm" and "Fat, Staggering Sun"). A crowd of just over 2,600 people stood on the spot where gladiators fought in the 1st century AD, making this the first rock concert ever held in this amphitheater.At the time, the LP was released in a limited boxed set of four.
