Description:
Winner of six Academy Awards in 1952, this musical is inspired by the film of the same name, which features some of the most famous songs of the Gershwin brothers, George and Ira. It was first adapted for the stage in Paris in December 2014, with a story that expands on the film and a new dance that captures the imagination. It won four 2015 Tony Awards for Best Choreography, Best Arrangement, Best Set Design, and Best Lighting Design. It will then move to London to begin its West End run. This is the original Broadway cast version of that musical.
