Commemorative disc of Japan's original project in Japan! The band's first performance in Japan after winning the Nobel Prize for Literature and their first appearance at a Japanese rock festival, Fuji Rock on July 29, will be their 101st show in Japan. This is the 40th anniversary of Dylan's first visit to Japan, and this album commemorates the one-time live performance on a midsummer night on a stage that no one had ever stopped wishing for. The recordings represent a dramatic period in Dylan's career when he was making the transition from folk to electric music, a time of controversy and controversy. It will be interesting to see how Dylan performed live in response to the masterful studio recordings he made during the same period. In addition to recordings made in New York and London, there is also a recording made in Newport. A 2 CD set of 29 songs on Blu-spec CD 2 is now available at a special price!
