David Gilmour performs at the Pompeii Amphitheatre for the first time in 45 years since Pink Floyd, in a historic live performance on July 7 and 8, 2016 at the World Heritage-listed Pompeii Amphitheatre, a Roman stone structure dating back more than 2000 years. The Blu-ray video covers Gilmour's entire career and features many of Pink Floyd's greatest hits. Director Gavin Elder captures in 4K a spectacular show that blends sound and images reminiscent of Pink Floyd, including a flood of light emitted from a giant circular screen, various mystical images that capture the imagination, laser beams, pyro, fireworks, and more. The film includes approximately 2.5 hours of concert footage. A 24-page photo booklet is included.
