The ultimate paper cover of Pink Floyd, which reproduces the original UK LP as much as possible, is now available. This is an anomalous 2 disc set consisting of disc 1 containing a selection of popular songs from the Birmingham Mothers Club show on April 27, 1969 and the Manchester Business School show on May 2, 1969, and disc 2 containing groundbreaking new songs incorporating music concretes and other new material. This is an irregular 2-disc album. The contrast between the live side, which is a valuable document of the band's tremendous ability at that time when they were already one of the best live acts, and the studio side, which is an avant-garde approach to the songs created by each of the four members, as if exploring future possibilities, is truly striking. The contrast between the live side and the studio side is truly striking. No. 9 in the UK. In the U.S., it reached No. 74, the first time in the Top 100.
