The Philadelphia Orchestra in his home country has also been reissued. The Philadelphia Orchestra has been praising this reissue, recognizing it as "an important project to revive their history in the present. The two recordings of Vivaldi by Ormandy recorded in 1959 and 1960 are coupled together. The "Four Seasons" arranged by Maripiero is an album that conveys the charm and magnificence of the rich string sound of the Phila Orchestra rather than the authenticity of Baroque music, and the impeccable solo of the famous concert master, Anchel Boursillou, is also a must-hear. The four concertos featuring two virtuosos, Oistrakh and Stern, are truly sumptuous, and this album has been highly acclaimed as a masterpiece since the LP era.
