This is the fourth album by Eddie 9V, a young blues and soul singer/guitarist with a cult following! Following in the footsteps of his previous album, "Capricorn," which hit #1 on the blues charts, Eddie 9V continues to push the envelope, condensing all kinds of roots music from Southern soul of the 70's High and Stax to mellow free soul of Philly and Chicago, as well as blues and West Coast. This album is a condensation of all kinds of roots music. A masterpiece of meticulously recreated vintage sounds and highly accomplished original songs, sometimes powerful, sometimes with a sweet falsetto! Brooks Mason, aka Eddie 9V (Nine Volt), was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996 and picked up the guitar at the age of six, falling in love with bluesmen like Howlin' Wolf and Freddie King and local hero Sean Costello, In high school, he played in the blues band, The Smokin' Frogs. After graduation, he joined Georgia Flood and represented Atlanta in the International Blues Challenge as a professional musician.He then formed the rock band PREACHERVAN and released the album "Polaroids and Panic Attacks". 2019 In parallel, he released his first album "Left My Soul in Memphis" as solo bluesman Eddie 9V. 2020. A live album "Way Down the Alley (Live at Blind Willie's)" and the single "The Come Up" will be released digitally. In 2021, he signed with RUF and made his worldwide debut with his second album, Little Black Flies, which debuted at #1 on the blues charts with 2023's Capricorn.
