Description:
The third album in five years from guitarist Khalif Waylin Walter, who carries on the legacy of Chicago blues! His blues guitar and vocals are a must-hear. This time, he did everything himself from guitar, bass, percussion, and vocals to production, recording, mixing, and mastering, except for the drums and horn section, making this an almost entirely self-produced effort. Khalif Weylin Walter is a blues guitarist from Chicago. His uncle is Carl Weathersby, a guitarist and vocalist in the Sun of Blues, which included Billy Branch. He picked up the guitar at an early age and learned guitar technique and bluesman's spirit from Carl. During his college years, he joined Ronnie Brooks and other bands to hone his skills in the clubs, and in 2002, he joined Ronnie's European tour. Later, he worked as a bandmaster for BB King's daughter, Shirley King, and performed with Taj Mahal, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Otis Rush, and many others. He performed at the Chicago Blues Festival in 2001, 2003, and 2007, and released his first solo album, "Let Me Say That Again," in 2008. In 2013, he made his Japan debut with "See Put the Voodoo on Me." In 2019, he will release "Nassin Left to Loose.
