Jimmy Cliff, born in Jamaica in 1944, is a reggae singer who made his debut in 1961 with the hit "Dearest Beverly / Hurricane Hatty" in 1962.In 1972, he starred in the movie "The Harder They Come" and the soundtrack was a worldwide hit, establishing a solid following. The soundtrack was also a worldwide hit, establishing a solid popularity. In 1983, he released "I Can See Cleary Now," the theme song for the movie "Cool Running," which was also a big hit.Since then, he has appeared in many films, composed music, and performed with rock musicians. In 2022, he showed his energy by releasing his first album in 10 years, "Refugees.
