Beautiful, melodic solo piano relaxation & chill-out music. Bill Lawrence is a fusion/jazz pianist born in London in 1981. He took classical piano lessons as a child, and began his professional career as early as age 14, performing at international festivals. He went on to study classical composition at Leeds University, while expanding his musical horizons by exploring jazz, funk, and drum'n'bass. 2004. he joined Snarky Puppy as a founding member. The following year, he debuted with "Live at Uncommon Ground" and won a Grammy for Best R%B Performance for "Something" featuring Leila Hathaway in 2013. As a solo artist, he debuted in 2014 with "Flint" on GroundUP Music.He became a hot topic when he reached #1 on the iTunes jazz charts and was acclaimed as a "jazz maestro" by The Guardian. He continued to release albums consistently, releasing his fifth solo album, "Cables," in 2019 on Flint Music, a label he founded, and "Live at Ronnie Scott's" under the name Trio in 2020.
