Dr. John, the great New Orleans pianist who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and won six Grammy Awards, is now available in a two-disc collection of rare material in memory of the legend who passed away in June 2019.On Disc 1, before his 1968 debut, "Gris-Gris, Disc 1 features 18 early career singles recorded under the name Mac Rebennack prior to his 1968 debut Gris-Gris, and Disc 2 features rarities left behind by Rex, Ace, and Crazy Cajun, as well as live material previously unreleased in North America and Japan.
