Carla Olson, a rootsy female guitarist and singer who played in the pioneering female rock band "The Textones" and later made headlines with her albums with Gene Clark and Mick Taylor, has re-released her rare solo debut album ("Carla Olson"), recorded and released in Sweden in 1988, has been re-released for the first time in Japan and the U.S.! Backed by the popular Swedish band Wilmer X, the roots-rock sound and Chrissie Hynde-esque vocals are superb.
