Nicola Conte's monumental major label debut album! This is Nicola Conte's second album released on Blue Note Italia. It was released all over the world, from Europe to Japan and South America, and was a success in both name and reality. Other Directions", composed and written by Nicolas Conte, is a sophisticated piece inspired by the jazz era of the late 60's, recreating the sounds of that time in a modern key. The album features a perfect fusion of jazz, bossa nova, and the club scene with electro, and while he would go on to become a successful producer and DJ, he also worked with some of the greatest artists of his time, including Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Bill Evans, and Kenny Clarke's band. This product consists of two discs, Vol. 1 (A-B) and Vol. 2 (C-D), each in a single LP shrink-wrapped package.
