The 007 film "Goldfinger" will be re-released on CD to commemorate its 60th anniversary. Sean Connery plays James Bond for the third time as 007, and Guy Hamilton directs the film. The bold orchestral score is a masterpiece that set the mood and style for the entire series. The historic title song, sung by Shirley Bassey, packs as much of a sonic punch today as it did 60 years ago. Thrilling, dramatic and romantic, it is all present in the masterpiece "Goldfinger" by John Barry. This remastered CD rearranges the original album tracks for the first time in the order in which they were used in the film, and includes additional material such as a mono mix of the title track with a different vocal performance by Shirley Bassey. *The Japanese commentary and obi are not included as this is an "Import Edition: Domestic Distribution Specification". The content is the same as the import version.
